- Vancouver Parks Board – The Parks Board cares and maintains all public trees in Vancouver. This website links to a street tree walking tour, the 1990 Street Tree Management Plan (PDF) and the means to place a service request for work relating to street trees

Organizations working on Tree or Urban Forestry issues
- Vancouver Fruit Tree Project – works to harvest surplus food from the city’s fruit trees, using it to support a variety of food security initiatives
- Burrard Street Community Orchard – a community “garden” of trees, located at Burrard and W. 6th Ave. Connected with the Pine Street Community Garden
- Stanley Park Ecology Society – Naturalist organization that works with the flora and fauna (including the forests) of Stanley Park
- Coalition to Save the Legacy Sakura of Oppenheimer Park – A grassroots group that came together during the redesign of Oppenheimer Park in the Downtown Eastside

- Kitsilano Tree Map – A neighbourhood-based initiative to promote the diverse trees of Kitsilano. Complete with walking tour and other news
Tree Related Celebrations in Vancouver
- Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival – An annual event (and check out there excellent map of blossom trees as well!)
- Bike the Blossoms – Annual community bike-ride, co-sponsored by the Cherry Blossom Festival and the Vancouver Area Cycling Coalition. Takes place in April.
